Dear All
I understand the far too punitive part - but - the AEBBA owes Sav and I £5000 still.
I still have unpaid table hire as well as billed to the parties concerned.
What would happen if Sav and I suddenly called these monies in???
Sorry but I feel it is about knowing what you owe as counties and paying table hires on time and affiliation fees.
I wish it left here and for associations to ensure prompt payment please.
Thank you Chris x

Maybe we should add a % (percentage) amount for unpaid bills following 30 days from due date for bills /affiliation fees/any other monies.
Something to consider for the AGM.

Congratulations to Kent on their victory in the County Championships today. In a very, very close finish Kent finished on 21 points level with Sussex A but deservedly won the title having won all 5 of their matches on the day. Sussex B were relegated although it might have been different if they had been able to field a full team with one of their players unable to make it on the day after an accident on the M4 blocked the road for several hours leaving him stranded there. As always, many thanks to Dave Alder for running the day, Terry Alder and Dave Tooke for setting the tables up and the the Didcot Conservative Club for hosting the event. Great to see nearly everyone helping to take down the tables at the end of the day.

Well done to Kent in what was a good day, good effort by my team but the 5 points we had to give away along with a poor day for the captain certainly took it`s toll. Another well run day, and a keenly contested competition, for Sussex B a special mention to Henry Brooks who was unbeaten.
I know Rick was caught up in an accident for about 5 hours and was very frustrated not to have taken part, apologies to those drawn in his group for having to have a bye.

Well done to Pauline Withey on winning the Ladies AEBBA individual competition. My apologies to Pauline as I forgot to mention her victory in my previous post but many congratulations to her. I believe that Denise Wills was runner-up on the day.

Great performance from the team yesterday. It's been 16yrs since we won it last, so brilliant to get Kent on the trophy again.
Well done to Pauline for winning the ladies singles.

Well done Pauline on winning the Ladies yesterday, you played really well all day :) Sad there were only five of us there to contest it, but was still a good day. I think that Jean should give up and her holiday next week and personally delivery the trophy :):):)

Your kindness as players is truly appreciated at this time.

I'm afraid it is a sign of the times with each County having less teams and less players but never mind it was still a very good day. I am really pleased to have won as it is still a prestigious trophy to win especially against some excellent Lady players on the day. xxx (By the way I think we should let Jean go on holiday I'm sure someone else will bring the trophy lol)

Fear Suffolk won't have an entry. But I'd be happy to try and get a bay invitation team together to make the numbers up

Fear Suffolk won't have an entry. But I'd be happy to try and get a bay invitation team together to make the numbers up Hi Dave, it would be great to have a team from Suffolk for the Division 2 county championships. That can be made up from any players within your League and they do not have to be members of the same team. It would be very helpful if you could let us know if you will be able to attend.

How many players do we need and what is the format? I have three players available and interested from our bay team, it would be a sad thing if we cant make the numbers up from the rest of our league Dave

Seven players Dave in an all teams play all round robin format.
Technically others could help you out so long as you register them for a Suffolk league team and they represent no other county this season in AEBBA intercounties/individuals representative comps (AEBBA pub team is different). Playing within county is not a pre-condition in the intercounties, just registration.
