Hassocks B 4-1 Weald Wanderers
Chris Lambe 1530 Ade White 70 Bob Lansdall 4230 James Seaton 2440 Adam Ruffle 2380 Nigel Bransbury 2950 Dom Ashby 1590 Duncan King 1150 Barry West (walkover)
Ade would have scored 4k+ but an early white peg ,and late black peg , let the Hassocks landlord take the first. Bob ,revitalized by his holiday , took the second. Nigel held off Adams challenge to put the Wanderers on the board. Dom sealed the win for the home team. Unfortunately the Weald could only field four players , and the B's captain got a walkover , and a welcome first win for the team this season.

The match between Division 1 leaders Horns Lodge and Premier League leaders The Plough ended 4-1 in favour of the visitors: but it could so easily have been a 3-2 win for the Horny Ones.
Tufty Croft 1500, Chase Newman 1530 (A very close run thing that could have gone either way). Dave Tiffin 1840, Geoff 2030 (I should have clinched it but left the last ball teetering over the 100 hole, and Geoff potted it on the second go). Sam Hall 1170, Dave Knight 3000 (Dave always in control . . .) Pete Shaw 1000, Darren Newnham 2450 (. . . as was Darren) Kevin 2440, Jan Bithell 2360 (Kevin did what I didn't at the end with the last ball in the 200 to spare us from a white-wash).
Thanks to Darren and his team for a very enjoyable evening with plenty of banter. (There you go Darren - and I didn't even mention the word "tower" . . . doh!)

Following the withdrawal of the Weald Wanderers this is the latest League table. As Tommo says it has shaken up the table with the Premier looks like it's split in two but Div 1 has changed completely as Horns Lodge and Hassocks B loosing the win against a premier side. But Div 1 now is very interesting with evenly matched teams fighting it out
