Horns Lodge 0, Hassocks A 5
Well, I think all that I can say is: Could do better! The visitors gave us plenty of chances but we steadfastly refused to take them. But well done to the As for coping far better than we did on our own table. Thanks to them for making it such a good, convivial evening.

St Francis, Bowley & Gallagher Family Funeral Directors, Golden Charter Funeral Plans, beat the Hassocks B 3-2. For some reason I gave the score sheet to Hassocks skipper to post, so I do not have the scores. Chris Little continues his good form. My run of playing last and winning is over, well played Hassocks skipper. TSO

HHUSC B 2 Cock Inn 3 Steve King 4560 Liz Lancaster 1140 John Lear 2850 Glen Wilkinson 3390 Chris Kirkham 2000 Huw Lincoln 2790 Paul Jobbins 4070 Chris Thornton 3050 Iang 0 Jan Smith 2300.
Well played to the Cock team all played very well. Glen started the win backed up by a win for Huw, Chris Thornton was unlucky to loose to Paul and my game with Jan went down to the last ball with both having chances a good late break from Jan put me under pressure & I pegged the 200 being 150 behind. My run of playing last and losing continues.
Sausage and chips to finish.
