What an adventure it turned out to be for Havant & Waterlooville: Beating Swansea, the runaway (CocaCola) League One leaders, and then a big pay day against Liverpool, where they actually led twice !
No league bar billiards match for me tonight, so I went to see some good honest endeavour non-league football over at Horsham. AFC got our revenge for the FA Cup penalty shoot-out defeat and won 2-0. The ball spent most of the match on the ground instead of in the air and our performance was stunning, it was like watching Arsenal but without all foreigners.
We rounded up a perfect evening by getting a chinese takeaway on the way home.

That was a brilliant performance at Liverpool you had the Kop really worried ,and my daughter who is a Liverpool fanatic.
I Wish my Team Oxford Utd could have a good cup run perhaps next season when we are back in the League :)

Undoubtedly this year's FA Cup competition will go down in history as the one which featured the greteast number of upsets; and more than the usual number of fairytales. Personally, it's been brilliant - in the best Fast-Show tradition of the word. ;)
Our day out at Anfield was a genuinely awesome, never to be repeated event. And to top it, we Hawks now effectively have the freedom of Liverpool! The 'Pool fans respect us for the way we joined in with YNWA before kick off and at the end of the game - and for the performance the team put in and the Evertonians like us for having scored twice at the Kop end AND for leading twice! 8-) ;) :)
Being usurped by Barnsley was a little galling; but Luke Steele & chums have rightly done so by proving the win at Anfield was no fluke, by then dumping Chelski out.
It's a little patronising of the BBC to describe this as "the people's cup" but I know what they mean.
Ironic innit! 4 teams in the last 8 of the Champions League, yet none of them got beyond the last 8 of our own domestic cup competition... :D
