Thanks for that Lorraine. Sorry to be a pain, but the Division 1 singles seems to be missing.

A rare MSBB post: here's what happened at the Weald earlier. Darren & Dave 2, Paul & Ian 0. Well played Darren and Dave. We played the third game anyway, then another just for practice, mixed up with lots of BB-related chat: this all helped us through the massive amount of (cooked) catering provided by the venue, enough for two teams! We did our best, thanks Weald.

Boball and mum beat ros and Andy 2-1 Mum broke with 2k ros nothing then boball balls back and 6.5k and touch to kill first game
Second game scrappy but Andy on table to claw deficit back to needing the 100 hole to win and he managed
Table got slightly trickier Boball broke with 2.7k Andy 1k then back and forth but boball using all his experience watching ros Andy and Pete play over the years and took his time nicely to let the clock run down and take the win
There was some ill words said by opponents but that's fine I suppose it's ok for 1 person to take 5 minutes to score 1k but it's not ok for a player to think about his shot when the game is close oh well that's life
Many thanks to sparky and Trevor for scoring

Lyn and I lost 2 - 1 to Adam and Nicki last night on a very good Cock table. That said, the first game was scrappy with us just about holding on to win. A nice break half-way through the second by Adam levelled the match. I missed on 4.5k in the decider, coming off the first time I went up the table and Adam, despite 2-3 forays to the back, put together a match-winning 7k opener. Pleasant evening, good company and we wish them the best of luck in the next round.
Don't know if Ros has already advised this, but the previous Monday she and I beat Adam and Spud 2 - 0 at the Watermill. Decorators in who hadn't seen fit to cover the table, so the first job was to remove a large covering of dust. As the table had obviously been moved slightly it was not good! Only 1 break over 500 in 2 games speaks for itself. Same for both teams but doesn't make for a fun evening.

I beat Chase 2 - 0 tonight at the Hassocks. Neither of us at our best. Thanks to Nick Brown for scoring the match.
