Oxon B comfortably won promotion into Division 2 for the 2007 County Champs. They were already confirmed as champions before the final series and despite a 5-2 loss to Berks B they won by 7 clear points. Ray Sturgess had a captains performance with 6 out of 6 and the top average of 8,592. Leon Beer was 2nd in the averages and had the top 2 breaks with a 14,440 effort being the best.
Berks B started well leading after 2 series but slipped behind after two successive 6-1 defeats. They won their last 2 matches to snatch second from Surrey B. Sussex B finished bottom on 17 points. Paul Reece (Surrey B) and Graham Alder (Berks B) had impressive days with 5 wins from 6.

I promised I would thank Gina and Charlie for the lift home, it was quite an adventure with us getting lost quite a few times, but many thanks for the lift! :D

Not good to see our poor Master holding everyone else up, and not even being given the opportunity to register a win in the last game of the day.

I would like to say how proud I was of my team (even Glenn) ::), they all gave it their best but on the day luck wasn't with us (and to be truthful our best wasn't enough).
BUT WE TRIED, and we learnt a lot from the experience.
