Hi.
This is a reminder that our AGM is on Tuesday 7th 8.30 at Roffey Club as the main hall is used for Dancing on that night we will be in the committee room just off the main hall, it would be nice if we could at least get 1 person from each team to attend.
We have a vacancy for the Deputy Chairman's role as Dick Dewdney is standing down. Also we have 2 vacancies for player members.
Ian.

The AGM was held last night, once more against the backdrop of C & W music and line dancing from the main hall outside. An interesting and successful season was highlighted in the reports from Chairman, Gen.Sec and Comps Secretary with tributes to all who had been instrumental in making it so. The Treasurer was able to report a healthy balance sheet, helped in no small part by the various sponsorships we had received. The Committee remains the same as last year with Stephen Hopkins taking over Deputy Chair from the retiring Dick Dewdney; and we welcome a rather reluctant Paul Jobbins, voted in to fill the vacancy thus created. Two Rule amendments, both concerning Highest Break and Score awards, were carried. Two points raised in A.O.B. were taken aboard by the new Committee for consideration next season - one rather contentious one about give-away trophies, the other a genuine attempt to encourage new players by means of the introduction of a handicap competition - possibly meaning the return of the Charity Cup.
