Hi All
Have been nominated to put together a team to play England on 26th June 2016
Will try and get a cross section of top players from all over to give the England team a challenge 10 men and 2 women required

No Hants, Oxford Northants or Bucks.
Predominantly Sussex, with Surrey and Kent/Eastbourne
Just a three County Challenge.

The list of players asked are shown above in this thread, as I suggested on my original post I did try to get someone from a cross section of areas but when the "unavailables" list grew I defaulted rightly or wrongly to players that were available or were selected last year. I would also say that I am happy with the team currently selected. Am aware that some may find the selection process undertaken unsatisfactory and apologise to anyone that might have been offended, but if anyone wishes to play, please PM both myself and Curt and 1 will put them on the reserves list for the event. I would also point out that as the event was set up as a memorial to the late Bill Kerr there is a weighting given to those that played with Bill in the local leagues. Hope this clarifies the reasons for the selections to date regs cs |

Morning, just to confirm that we are planning to start at 11 am sharp, so meet at around 10.30. If everyone is there earlier we can start earlier!
The format is the same as last year 3xsingle matches (one of which is off the spot) and one doubles game. All games are double legs, with points for legs and aggregate score. Look forward to seeing everyone

Thanks to Curt for some brilliant coaching on a particular shot. You never know it may come in handy next weekend at Kent!!😄
