Merton Hotel room booking

Good evening all,

I have had feedback from a few players stating that they have been having issues in booking specific types of rooms at the Merton. Having spoken to the General Manager I can advise that 95% of rooms have been reserved by the hotel for the World Championships and therefore need to be booked directly with them by phone, mentioning Bar Billiards World Championships.

Rooms booked via websites and special offers will assume the hotel is fully booked for that room type and only offer the limited rooms they haven't reserved.

My booking was done direct with the hotel by phone, quoting the Championships. I was told they had no further double rooms, so perhaps the General Manager should have a word with the booking office.
