I have started a new thread (in the AEBBA Members only section) showing the entries that have been received and will keep this updated regularly.
Please note that there are only a limited number of single rooms (9 in total) and that 5 of these have already been booked so, if you require a single room, please send me your booking as soon as possible as the remaining single rooms will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Once all of the single rooms have been allocated, the single occupancy supplement of £13 per person per night will be applied to anyone that is allocated a double room.

I have updated the list of entries and this is shown in the AEBBA Members Only area on the Forum. We are now up to 40 pairs in the competition and 70 rooms have been allocated at the Queens Hotel. I believe that there is only ONE remaining single room and once that has been allocated players would need to pay the sole occupancy supplement of £13.00 per night to have a double room. I am expecting to receive a number of entries from Guernsey players (probably when I see them at the World Championships weekend) and there are also a number of regular players that have not yet sent entry forms through, including several where their partners have already booked so I would ask anybody that does wish to play in the competition to send their booking forms to me as soon as possible.

I have updated the list of entries received in the Members Only section.
Please note that ALL SINGLE ROOMS have now been taken and players will therefore either need to arrange to share a room or pay the sole occupancy supplement pf £13 per night.
A total of 79 rooms have now been allocated and I am awaiting booking forms from at least 15 people who have indicated that they will be attending next year.

Hi Chris does this mean that if someone stays in the 'Alternative Accommodation Hotel' they can still enter ? Or do any late entries go onto a waiting list ? Your post seems to be confusing a few people over here. Thank you, and Happy New Year.

I am told arrangements for alternative accommodation are being made by the Queens. Anyone who books through the normal AEBBA/Queens channel will be able to enter.
You cannot however, at this stage, book your own accommodation independent of AEBBA and enter the competition.

All payments for accommodation have been received and Chrissie will now start to sort out the final room bookings at the hotel. Despite a few late cancellations, the Queens Hotel is sold out and a few people will also be staying at another nearby hotel having made their booking through AEBBA too late to get into the Queens but they will still be eligible to play in the competition this year. We have ended up with 65 pairs this year and the full list of entries is now shown in the AEBBA Members Only Section. The draw will be done at the Oxon Open next Saturday.

Echo what bigtj says. Massive thanks to all who put the weekend together. Can anybody tell me when the tournament moved from Eastbourne to Bournemouth, or perhaps more sucinctly, how many years it has been at Bournemouth now?.

Looking on the old website data, 1993 was the first year at Bournemouth when Bernie McCluskey and Paul Yeo won an all Berkshire final against Walshy and Derek Soper.
