Again a diappointing turnout for this event, but 1 up on last year. with 3 present. Chris and Steven as expected made the final , but Paul from Redhill had chances to take more from his group games and should challenge them more in future year (although I am not sure how old he is) The final was close, Chris had the break 3 times to make a 14k lead into leg 2. Steven looked good until he hit a split thick on 9k. Steven then got the balls back again but missed just 700 behind. Chris was very unlucky on his next visit as 2 balls whipped out of the 30 pocket. Steven got the break back for a third time and clinched the title by 400 points. Steven's 4th title equals Darren Isard's record. Can Chris stop him clinching the record outright next year? PS - One query, me and Chris were not sure, but is Jersey semi finalist Phil Collins eligible for this event?

Well done Steve, just wasn't meant to be in the final! Still at least i retained the high break prize ;)
So following on from recent discussions on another thread why don't all the under 25's who are interested in the event post here. Include anyone else known that isn't on the forum, then hopefully we can have a proper tournament next year!

Plus i have a score to settle with him lol ;) What rules are played for the under 25's e.g off the spot or anywhere on the d? James

Yeh I managed to spoil his fun a couple of years ago, but not since!
It's played from anywhere on the D, so you should find it easy!
If there is enough interest, hopefully it can be changed to a completely open event so that channel island players can play (I think it is just All England at the mo).

I stand to be corrected on this, Chris, but Jersey (and even Guernsey) players would be welcomed. After all Jersey players take part in our AE Grand Prix and have in the past taken part in the AE Individuals.
I certainly would not stand in the way of any Jersey players wanting to play. But yes, it will be off the D.
