St Francis 3-2 Hassocks B
Bob beat Dom Neil beat Barry Roger lost to Jenny Shaun lost to Dilly Chris got a walkover
Some low scoring but close games on a tricky table. Unfortunately the B's could only field 4 players. A very nice selection of sandwiches and a pleasant evening.

HHUSC A 3, Windmill 2 (in order played) Richard 12,210, tommo 2930 (Richard awesome as usual)Ben 3660, Johnny 5060 (Spirited comeback by Ben but John did enough early on)Andy 1370, Jim 9930 (nice 7k break to the bar by Foxy)Mick K 5870, Graham 290 (Mick steady and everything going wrong for our star of last night)Trevor w/o Vicky no show Disappointing to have to give one away again, and our apologies to Trevor who has been in good form recently. Christmas can't come soon enough, and perhaps we'll start the second half of the season refreshed and with a full team again. Many thanks to the hosts for a good night with sociable chat and some top grub.

CKRBL 3 HHUSC B 2
Neil Burchell 2410 John Lear 2130 Lynne Moyes Robb 880 Chris Kirkham 1130 Ted Stringer 2920 Darrell Skinner 560 Pete Harris 1500 Adam Bateup 2960 Andy Farmer Wright 7300 Paul Jobbins 3270
A good night at the Legion and a competitive match the first was close and could have gone either way, Adam came good eventually but best of the night was the last Andy led off with 3.5K Paul replied with 2 but Andy made sure with another 3K break. Well played.

Brewers 5 - 0 Watermill
In order played -
Nick Brown 6140 510 Sabina Williams Rob Driver 1910 840 Tony Williams Neil Higgins 8450 610 Paul Blackburn Terry Molloy 6950 3940 Kim Stenning Richard Spurrier 1550 1120 Gavin Boyd
Well, when the cat's away.............
With the Captain away on hols, we are fortunate enough that we have several very capable reserves to call upon. Nevertheless an excellent result for the Home team.
With people needing to leave early as they had come straight from work, and with the prospect of another not arriving until late, we were indebted to our opposition for their sporting agreement to play the games in a vastly different order to the one drawn.
Game of the night was definitely Terry v Kim, where Kim was going nicely chasing Terry's opener, but when he came off Terry didn't give him a second chance.
A very pleasant evening with good company.

The Battle of The Cocks (Episode One) ended with a 3-2 win for the Horny Cocks:
Tufty Croft 1810, Jan Smith 1010 Chris 'CJ' Farrow 6080, Chris Thornton 1620 Sam 'Fingers' Hall 550, Huw Lincoln 1230 Dave Tiffin 1640, Liz Lancaster 1230 Kevin Stevens 2080, Jim McClenn 2540
A good, tight match (apart from CJ who showed us all up :-) ). Sam probably should have won his game, if only he hadn't gone for a greedy 100 shot and black-pegged an early lead. But a really good night with the Cocks who are no doubt looking forward to the rematch at the end of the season.
A word of thanks also to landlord Dave for a superb spread of food - much appreciated and enjoyed by all.
