In the words of James May: "Oh, Cock !" as this was a rather flaccid performance by our fading team. (In order played) Jan Smith 2310, tommo 1960 (great play from Jan, thought I was ok getting a thousand ahead but Jan chipped away and then got ahead at the bar with a thousand break of her own. I managed to save the red for a chance to win but missed the 200 when red in the 100 would have been sufficient. Doh !) Jim McClenn 290, Mick 1900 (early lead by Mick, Jim then pegged what could well have been a winning break.) 1-1 Bob Procter 1540, Foxy 1510 (looks close but Foxy was 430 behind with only two whites left before finishing with a flourish.) 1-2 Chris Thornton 1390 Graham 1390 (Graham nudged ahead towards the end and was 300 in front, Chris left with 2 whites potted a great 100 and then 200 for the tie. Huw Lincoln 1630, Vicky 2310 (History repeats, Vicky our heroine, showing us how to play for the second week running.) Cock 2.5, Windmill C'y 2.5 Chicken dippers and scampi with some nice chips as a diversion from the cock fight. Definite ladies night with both girls the only players to manage 2000.

Hassocks b v Hassocks A
The B team full of spirit knowing Pete Edwards Ill and dilly was sure of him self that if drawn against me would make me suffer like Nigel did
Jenny 1370 - 2220 Andy hall Dilly 4030 - 10830 bob hall Chris 1080 - 3050 Derek Dom 1110 - 7110 Darren Barry 2740 - 5130 lorraine
Game 1 rolly played a fantastic game and Jenny couldn't handle the support I gave rolly and the pressure led to plenty of pegs
Game 2 dilly was sure he would win but off on 600 I got the balls back and touched on 7 knowing I had won and then added another 3
Game 3 Chris more interested in Man Utd woeful performance and Derek always in front
Game 4 Darren never in trouble
Game 5 mum off on 2 Barry comes back with 2 and it was mum to get balls back first and make sure
An excellent night and lots of laughs a special well done to rolly who was nervous as didn't want to let us down and that he didn't well done on your win
