Hi all
If anyone is interested you can book for return Flights (Gatwick) and 4 nights at the Mayfair Hotel for £206, Single Occupancy through the Flight+Hotel function of British Airways.
The Mayfair is about a 10-12 minute (0.6 mile) walk from the Merton
(FYI The Merton shows as £381 on the same basis)

Easy Jet flight prices are now out and seem very good at the moment, we have just booked these (£169.60 for 2 including hold luggage) and also booked direct with the Merton using their advanced payment saver for 4 nights which was £258.40 for a double room.  |

Ridiculous as it may seem, London City flights are £58 out and £2 return!! (basic flight, no hold luggage)

Easyjet have currently got a sale on. We've just booked flights from Gatwick for £57 each return. That includes 1 20kg hold suitcase between us. Even cheaper prices were available on some flights.
I believe, from the way they work out their flight prices, that it works out cheaper if there are 2 or more on the booking - because the prices include a booking fee.
