Brewers 5-0 Hassocks B Wins for Ros, Neil, Terry, Paul and Trevor. A friendly and fun night , with some good laughs , with the home team too strong for the visitors.

Hassocks v the watermill We needed to win and a win is what we did Boball 15010 Gavin 1500 ( Gavin off early boball 14k and touch ) Derek 3300 Tony 1670 ( Derek lost his opener and another decent break but finally got infront) Darren 7040 Sabina 1760 (steady game by Darren ) Pete 8020 mark 2600 ( Pete opened with 4K and got the balls back for another 3k) Lorraine 4590 Kim 2270 (neither player wanted to win this but a 2k break finally sealed it late on
A great night and nice to be league champions with a game spare

Im sure Clive will post the detail later, congrats to Hassocks A Yeah, first things first: 1. Thanks to our gallant opponents the Cock H/L for a pleasant evening, some tasty food especially the scampi. 2. Congratulations to the Hassocks A for wrapping up the league: they stormed the second half with loads of Hawaii 5-0s, and no-one could live with them. 3. Last night's scores: Alf Ippititimus (aka Tufty Croft) 2650, Johnny 1950 Dave Tiffin 4090, Mick 2090 Peter Shaw 1210, Graham 5420 Sam 'Fingers' Hall 400, tommo 2110 Kevin Stevens 1260, Foxy 7440 3 scores of over 4k suggesting not much wrong with the Cock table !

Although he lost his opener, Neil recovered well with a nice 4k break. Barry made a great start with a 4.5k break, but Terry got the balls back after a couple of goes each. He then played out the table for his final score of 5850. Last ball game for Trevor and Jenny, with Jenny needing the 200, but Trevor confidently sunk the 100. Lively evening at the Brewers!

St Francis 4 HHUSC B 1
Roger Walbank 1090 Chris Kirkham 1730 Shaun Morris 2540 John Lear 1780 Chris Little 1810 Darrell Skinner 1610 Bob Ellis 1660 Steve King 960 Neil Henry 2820 Iang 1970
Oh Dear it wasn't our night but Saints played very well including Shaun who is still playing with a fractured shoulder. Chris & Darrell's game was really close nothing went for Steve, I got a reasonable start against Neil but 2 breaks saw him seal it.
So with CKRBL winning 4-1 the gap is down to just 2 points & all to play for next week when we play them at home
