Windmill C'y 3, Hassocks B 2
Hassocks B took it to the wire, belying their lowly postion in the league. In order played: Johnny 1050, Dom 2230 Vicky 2300, "BBW" Dilly 5560 Graham 7180, Jenny 2320 Mick 2500, Chris 1300 tommo 7040, Barry 2580
"BBW" = "builders bum williamson" - the bigger the break whilst on the table the further the trousers were slipping down, to the point that bets were almost being taken on whether we'd see a full moon tonight! Many thanks to our sporting opponents for a good evening despite the teams not being expected and no food etc.

Shame the table wasn't booked by either captain but well done in reaching the final I must admit that in our first year back, the ramifications of being the Home Team carrying the obligation of having to book the neutral venue were lost on me. So I apologise to both teams for this oversight. Surely, sending a scorecard to the venue in advance would take the onus off the poor captains ?

CKRBL 2, Cock HL 3
Lynn 490, Kevin 1170 Paul 2460, Dave 2940 Neil 3270, Tufty 2320 Peter 1540, Sam 3260 Ted 1880, Pete 1310
A good, tight match which could have gone either way, and in all honesty should have with Lynn taking out a black peg when leading comfortably. So looking forward to meeting the Windmill in the final, which will be the fourth time we'll have played them this season!
