Sadly we cannot make it this year.
Only 4 Pairs ? That is a little worrying if that is the true total of entries.
I am sure the club would need more to make food viable ?
It would be helpful if people going could say on here for Dawn and Dave.

I see 6 PAIRS it cannot be run on this ...
I would suggest it is cancelled unless we have at least 12 confirmed entries to make it viable which include trophies and table costs re diesel on so on.
Sorry but I feel there needs to be at least a viable field.

If this does go ahead my new partner will be Jenny Florey as Sami & Grahams baby is still in hospital. At least the takings behind the bar should be good with me going!  |

I am truly sorry but this event is cancelled.
Dave Alder has let Matt Jones know today.
We cannot run on 8 entries.
It may be re-scheduled later in the year.
On a different note - truly worried about entries all round - Northants, Sussex Opens and previous tournaments e.g. Oxford...
May be a pint to discuss at the AGM ???

Dear All I am truly sorry but this event is cancelled. Dave Alder has let Matt Jones know today. We cannot run on 8 entries. It may be re-scheduled later in the year. As we draw closer to the end of the year, just a quick note to see if any thought had been given to trying to run this competition this year? It would be a shame if this competition were to be lost in the future, we all know how hard it can be to try to start something again once it has disappeared.  |

Sorry Dave but it has not been scheduled in for the Winter AEBBA events. These have now been finalised with trophies ordered
Something to raise at the AGM I think.
