Back in the day, Hastings could hold their own at Interleague with the best (especially when playing at home).
For many years the A's staged matches at the Marina and the B's at the Fountain, St Leonards. Both Horsham teams would travel by coach, a 2 hour journey each way (a crate of beers organised for the return journey

Anyway, I have found this site which shows some bar billiards activity from 1980 at the Marina (see photos 4,5,24,33 and 48)
