No entries so far except from the southern coastal counties ?

As a National competition, this needs to be made more enticing to encourage the others:

• sell the venue better
• state what prize money is on offer

etc etc.

It would be a shame to see this competition cancelled, having only returned four years ago.

I know that numbers have been down this year in all of the County Opens.... but there are still 6 weeks to go until the closing date for entries and we all know that a lot of players leave it until the last minute before they send their entry in so no need to panic yet about it....

Thanks to Dave I's (BB Warrior ) response I will be mild here in my answer....

There are a very few that do masses to put on competitions BB Warrior included, there are some like me that do some work to put on competitions - there are many that do nothing to run competitions.... maybe they could do some promoting on behalf of those that do !!!

I intend that the AEBBA will get £80 Diesel + running costs from the event plus the £1 truck fund.
After that £400 will be spent on trophies and prize monies.
Anything from the raffle will go into West Sussex and the club.

Chris, so you are aware there is a joint christening in Oxford on that Sunday involving the Badens and Sheards so Oxford would be very doubtful as Pauline does most of the driving and will be at the christening. I do know that Traff was trying to persuade someone to give him a lift......
