It took a while to work out the new table at the Alex but there were plenty of laughs along the way, brilliant evening in good company and a nice spread of sarnies and nachos provided.

Sea View 2 White Hart A 4
Steve beat Rick in the first, plenty of chances for both, Steve missing the opening break and both struggling to stay on the table to accrue a score. Colin lost to Ian, Colin built a 1.5k, Ian getting back in it with a 2k break and stayed ahead. Kayleigh beat Stuart, Kayleigh started with 600, Stuart could not get to grips with the table and never got the break back, Kayleigh held her lead. Rory lost to TJ, Rory off early, TJ break back twice only to loose 1.5k both times, third time lucky got 1k and kept them and then held onto the lead.
Once again 2-2 after the singles and relieved to have managed that.
Colin and Rory lost to TJ and Stuart, Colin and Rory built a small lead and looked as though they may keep it, but Stuart made 900 at the top of the table to put us enough in front as the bar dropped. Steve and Kayleigh lost to Ian and Rick, Steve off early, then a scrap throughout, with the away pair just in front and the bar due, Steve got the beak back in time but left both up as the bar dropped, Ian cleared to the last ball and needed the 100 to win, missed, Kayleigh left 200 short going for the win, Rick missed the 100, Steve left the 200 short, leaving Ian another go at the 100 which he made sure of.
Lovely venue, staff and landlord made us very welcome, table needs a small bit of adjustment, summed up by Ian saying that is no give me.
