Albion Fishersgate A 2-3 Albion Fishersgate C Matt 7770 - 5630 Geoff** - Geoff off on about 3.5k, I got them straight back and got to 7.5k before missing. Geoff had time but didn't get them back until too late, but a good start for us **Joe 8240 - 10,120 Jim - Joe off on 3k when missing both balls on a 20 split. Jim excellent 9k and touch, Joe with a rapid 5K Henry 4940 - 10,250 Dave** - Woeful start from Dave as he left his first one up short H break back, off at 1.5k, Dave first to get them back a solid 7k ish before a whipped 100 split brought gasps from the spectators and coming off soon after. Henry did get the balls back but not enough time **TJ 6270 - 5240 Stu - the Jenneral started strongly but came off on 3k, then it was plenty of chances after that but one of Choccie's breaks put him in front before Tony crept about 1k in front with time fast running out. However, Stuart had the balls back but couldn't seal the deal and relieved to get another chance Tony got enough next visit Rick 1310 - 13,020 Mark** - A quality 8.9k and touch from Mark did not give Rick any chance, there was a very brief glimmer of hope for the hosts during the break but a couple of excellent recovery shots saw the hopes dashed Well done to the Cs on their win, as you would expect there was plenty of loud and mostly good-natured banter with the usual bar billiards chat Sympathies tonight to Grant

As always, a good report from Silent.... apart from this..... Henry 4940 - 10,250 Dave** - Woeful start from Dave as he left his first one up short H break back, off at 1.5k, Dave first to get them back a solid 6k before a whipped 100 split brought gasps from the spectators and coming off soon after. Henry did get the balls back but not enough time ....having (woefully) missed my first one up, my score when I came off the second break was 8.4k so I think that the "solid" break was just under 8k rather than 6k, maybe the scorer was still recovering from the gasps after the whipped split?!

My humblest apologies for the woefully inaccurate reporting on this leg, I think it was due to a mixture of amazement and surprise when I had to call "over 7" that caused this error I look forward to apologising to you in person tonight when we have the pleasure of each other's company for the fourth time in five days. It is something that I am sure you will never recover from.......
