According to my diary, these competitions are due to be played at Didcot Conservative Club on Sunday 15th October.... in just 10 days time!  Unless I have missed something (which is possible), there has been no publicity about either of these competitions, no lists of teams put down for the Team Championships and no reminders for the Ladies that the competition is due be played.... so, the question has to be asked of whether the competitions will go ahead?  There has been much talk here on the forum about falling numbers for competitions this year so surely somebody needs to start promoting these events in advance in future or, sadly, we will find that they no longer exist....  |

Know Sussex Team Champions are the Romans C and am certain they are going to be attending if this goes ahead.

Thanks Mark - I would be miffed if that has happened ( obviously nothing to do with Pauline always the perfect sport and player ), as I have always been told no re Ladies IKO when it was combined with County Teams Champs Div 1 and I see no difference. Ladies cannot play in both the open and ladies individuals in the same year. The only stipulation on Inter-county team comps is that Ladies may play in BOTH open and Ladies.

I know what the issue will be which is about having played a table prior to another competition. I do feel this should be discussed. Hi Clive, It was Jenny Florey who came runner up to me, it was all very close, down to the last game, we had the same number of points but I won on aggregate. It is always very hectic at the end and I didn't see any of the results or scores.I look forward to seeing them. x
