Well done to Daniel Wheal on defending his Under 30s title. Joe Oakley was runner-up, having played very well all day up to the final. Daniel had the first break and made 3k before coming off, Joe didn't get the balls back but Daniel did and made an excellent 9k break. Joe was off on 2k his break game and when Daniel made another 2k Joe conceded giving Daniel the cup. Joe had the consolation of the high-break trophy with over 12k.
Well done to Kyle on working hard to get 9 players (it would have been a greater number but disappointingly there were some late drop outs) and on achieving a pb highest break of over 12k

Overall a very enjoyable day, many thanks to all those that help us set it up. Very big well done to Daniel and Joe for reaching the final, Daniel for retaining the titel and to Joe for just tipping past my break for the HBA! :) Thank you to everyone that played, a few dropouts but still a good improvement on next year - aiming to get into double figures next year! Thanks to Dave Alder / Nigel Senior for doing the draws / timings and running the competitions!
