Keen to get as many entries as possible for this competition. The date of this competition is Sunday 26th November and it will be played alongside the Grand Prix Competitions.
Venue: Didcot Conservative Club in Oxford Now in Arborfield Club, Berkshire.

When did this become aebba u30s? It was changed in the last AEBBA AGM - Changed from Under 25's to Under 30's as we only had 4 entries last year. |

When did this become aebba u30s? At the AGM last December (minutes available to see on the AEBBA board, locked thread at the top of "AEBBA A.G.M."): Rule change proposal 2 with amendment passed unanimously. |

Watcha. In common w with most of the posts on our site, there is no indication of which league it is or where the venue is. please indicate.... all of you please. Which league you are talking about at the top of the thread. John Tidy appears to be the only one who qualifies this in his missives. I presume that the oxford united soccer shirt is the oxford league and I now know that silent is Brighton.... but much of the rest could be easily made clear. Hugs xxx

Hugs xxx Jim, this a National Tournament run by AEBBA (All England Bar Billiards Association) and it is not a local league competition, all of the venues for AEBBA Competitions are shown on the forum within the AEBBA section although I do appreciate that not everybody knows where to look for the venues as they are listed in the national tables section usually.... this competition is being played at Didcot Conservative Club in Oxford. Surely the post is placed in the appropriate board so when I post in the Brighton Board talking about the Winter League it will come as no great surprise that I am talking about the Brighton Winter League!!!!!!
Joking aside it is a shame that rather than taking a gentle swipe as someone has I wish to commend Kyle on his efforts.....you know your job will not be complete though until you have reported the results on here after the event Mr Ingram.....

Well done Kyle, you have really put your heart into this and getting 11 entries is amazing. Considering how many Under 30's there are compared to how many Over 50's there are you have worked wonders - very disappointing that there are now only FIVE entries for Over 50's this Sunday :(.

Another possible entry from Joe Foxon in Nottingham If he can sort out travel arrangements :)) possibly now surpassed the 12 entry Mark!! Amazing increase on last year.

The format is going to be mad lol Had a discussion briefly with Nigel - potentially 2 groups, round robin in each of single leg games. Top 2 go through into a final maybe with a semi's and final being played. Will be a good day for the Under 30's of the bar billiards World regardless. Really keen to get up to the 14 entry mark - this could guarantee everyone potentially gets 6 games!! |
