Evening all, Final preparations are well underway for this years tournament, with tables now on site and in the midst of being prepared for Friday evening. A slight change in the layout for this years room but you can wait until you get there to find out, nothing major, just something to confuse people with 9 years under our belt at the Merton. A live thread will be available from Friday evening on our Jersey website with scores being posted as soon as they are available to publish - this live thread to also include the International game on Saturday evening (half-time and full-time scores only). Please feel free to visit the site now www.jerseybarbilliardleague.co.uk where you will see tables and times for the first round of the Pairs. Sean

Tommo, thanks for the extra feedback. Keep it coming, I shall rely on you with my postings for commentary. Fast now, as C series (playing now) are straight on for D series, with the winners again straight on for E series, so if updates relax, us in Jersey apologise.

Excellent work Sean & Tommo, it’s good for absentees like myself to be able to follow the tournament as it progresses. One bizarre stat that has caught my eye is that the total aggregate points scored by the combined opponents of Millward & Gallienne thus far is still less than 1k. Surely nobody has ever advanced so far in a tournament while conceding so few?

Good spot Mark - although a few dropped breaks (albeit small) have assisted. Still a fantastic achievement however.
Singles starts this morning at 9.30am with probably the toughest group of all commencing - Group 8. Scores will be posted from 12pm onwards so radio silent for now (I think I shall have to webcam broadcast next year so everyone catch select a table to watch on the red button!)
