Bob beat ben i went in with 12k and touch and added another 2k
And then the games changed
Pete lost to Richard neither player scoring much but richard just scraping it
Jock lost to andy
Same as previous game
Derek beat graham a nice 5k break by derek

.......and so after a good comeback by the hosts, the match delicately poised at 2-all.

Game 5 was similar to game 4 in that Peter got his nose in front, only not to get another go (Andy did the same to Barry)
Games 2 and 3 were extremely close affairs. Don't know what went right in game 1, but I dedicate the win to dearly departed John Turner.
A nice evening with a sociable bunch. Table played superbly, and the cheese and pate buffet was very tasty.

Gary beat Dom
Lynn lost to Barry
Neil beat Jack
Richard lost to Jenny
Nick beat Dilly
Lynn black pegged in second when game was in balance. Easy for Gary and Neil in first and third. Spud cruising in forth when coming off side cushion to get ball behind ten hole , catching the edge of the twenty ,and coming back to BP losing 8k. Very unlucky.
Dilly took a 3.5k lead in the last but Nick got the break back and cleared for 6k. Enjoyable evening in good company , with sausage and chips from the local chippy. A deserved win for the home team.
