A tricky break and low scoring games. The final game went to the last ball , when I missed , and Ted greatfully sunk the red in the 100.

A nice away win to end our first half, an abundance of catering including B.B.

I think this result means we stay Number One for Christmas.
A nice evening and the breaded mushrooms were particlarly nice.

Paul recovered fro an early Black Peg. My thanks to Dennis, who came out of retirement, to help us out. Some may remember him from the Golden Eagle/Pilgrim.

Ian always in control. The only scare being a ball coming all the way back to the black Peg, however the 200 hole got in the way.

Very enjoyable game with an old friend. The whole game hanging on a trick shot that I have never before tempted or practiced.

Neil Henry 1510 Steve King 1890
Neil made up ground at the end, but not enough. Steve gets revenge for Neil's win over him last season.

I think this result means we stay bottom for Christmas.
Really friendly and competitive evening, and the Harveys was particularly nice.

I'm also grateful to Dennis for stepping in as both Bob & Nigel were unwell, I think he enjoyed his comeback. Some very close games and it really could have gone either way but despite the win it means that both teams stay bottom at the end of the first half. A good night.
