Albion C 2-3 Marquis **Matt 10,420 - 0 Henry - I went off with 9.8k to give H no chance. We mucked about at the top end before Henry was overjoyed to get the break back with 4 balls left, knocking the black peg over with the last one Nigel 4250 - 4300 Jack** - It was nice of Jack to turn out for the visitors tonight He was off early but Nigel missed early too. Jack made a nice 4k break before pegging it, Nigel balls back but off about 3.5k in front with 3 minutes left. Jack played very well to the bar and sunk the 200 second time for a good win Tupps 1660 - 6350 Dave "the Warrior" - Dave off early and Tupps in the process of a very nice break (over 4k) before the break 4 times Dave built a lead, but Tupps still had a chance but came off. The Warrior grateful for a third chance to seal the win **Michelle 3190 - 6520 Jim - Michelle off on 1.3k, Jim balls back but missed on 750. Chelle another 1.3k, Jim better next break with 4k but Michelle still had a chance but couldn't catch up Jean 5160 - 2080 Gareth** - Gareth off early and continued his struggles on the top throughout the leg. Jean a very solid leg, staying in front after her first break and never relinquishing her lead for a good win After the first leg there were plenty of chances, no doubt those legs could have gone either way. Well done to the visitors on their win and taking advantage of their opportunities. No surprise, considering those in attendance, there was some wicked banter, plenty of vocal support, but most of all a good night in excellent company....shame about the result

Joe Oakley * | 9090 | 2420 | Ben Goodwin | Rick Cunningham | 5600 | 1520 | Loz Hickman* | Steve Aylmore | 2420 | 2980 | Dammo Hickman * | Mal Spier * | 6300 | 0 | Pete Hickman | Tony Jenner | 3670 | 8060 | Chris Cox * | 3 | 27080 | 14980 | 2 |
Joe steady game and with Ben not being able to get the balls back to late on took well deserved leg. Loz off early and did not really settle after that, Rick took full advantage. Dammo off at 1.5k, Steve balls back and going well until caught one up thin and went behind taking the white peg and giving the break back, Dammo added another 1k and although Steve fought back the win went to the opposition. Mal off at 1.3k, Pete balls back at 3k caught split thin and pegged, Mat added 4k, Pete balls back and again took the peg on the split. Chris 2 breaks to build 5k lead, I got them back and going well to 3.5k but made a right hash of the split missing both balls, Chris added another 3k. Good night, plenty of banter, chances for all and a fair few pegs.
