Horsham 4 Mid Sussex A 3
Dave Howlett* 6660 Darren Newnham 180 Steve Hopkins 8850 Andy Farmer-Wright* 1990 Iain Tarrant 4580 Richard Jeffrey* 7770 Stuart Carruthers* 12040 Bob Hall 8270 Mick Fairs 6230 Derek Taylor* 1730 Lee Cable 3750 Mick Kirwan* 7330 Brian Marten* 4280 Barry West 5090
Apart from game four there was chances for all with Hoppo getting an important win against the break early to give us options and Fairsy sealing the win late on in his game. In game four I touched on 12k and Boball played out the rest. Good to see our captain who popped out to join us for a quick drink.

To enable me to update the player averages for Division 3, please could somebody advise the following.... 1) D Robbins who played for Brighton C - is this Darren Robins or DJ Robins please? (Both of those have played for Brighton C this season) 2) A first name for "J Kelly" who played for Hastings B? Many thanks, in anticipation.

It would be really helpful if people posting results could put surnames as well, I think that I know who all of these are but some teams have more than one player with the same name!! Only a polite request to make life easy for me, no criticism of this particular post.

Hastings A 3-4 Brighton A **Sandy Harmer 5920 - 1870 Nigel Senior Andy Eldridge 2710 - 7760 Henry Brooks** Colin Southouse 4980 - 6860 Matthew Knight** **Mike Daw 7560 - 1340 Chris Tupper Phil Osborne 3370 - 9080 Jim Millward** Bob Osborne 1460 - 4930 Dave Ingram** **Dave White 5150 - 2830 Jack Baden Thanks to Hastings for agreeing to rearrange the match for tonight. There was some memorable and never to be forgotten bar billiards on show tonight, breaks aplenty, head shaking on a regular basis and chances galore but somehow despite all the woefulness every leg went with the break This of course meant a victory for the visitors who, with a sigh of relief, were to take the 2 points. Thank you to Hastings for being good sports, excellent company and providing more than decent food It was an excellent night, if a little raucous at times and apologies to anyone who may have a headache in the morning
