It's my sad task to inform you that Kim passed away yesterday morning.
there is no news yet apart from that he had been unwell & not played for the last 2 weeks. Kim was a long term player with the Watermill team & it has come as a great shock to them all and as such they don't feel able to play next Wednesday's match. The last time I saw him was in the Charity game at the Club and he was his usual self and that is the way I will remember him. My condolences go to his family & team mates.
RIP Laser Eyes.

Rip kim you was always a gent and one of the nicest barbilliard players to play the game for mid sussex. I would say a player who wasnt always confident in his own ability but once had the backing of his team could beat anyone you will be missed and i hope you and martin rangé are putting the world to rights up in heaven now.
Thinking of your family at this tough time

Shocking news. I've not been playing Mid-Sussex as long as most of the other players, but as well as being a decent friendly man, Kim was a much respected and capable opponent, perfectly able to give anyone a good beating. I will miss our tussles. RIP Kim.

Such a shock to hear this news, I'm at loss to know what to say. I echo the comments regarding Kim - a truly likeable guy and a tough opponent and I'm sure I can speak for the rest of the Cock team in saying he will be very greatly missed. Deepest sympathy and condolences go to his family, friends and fellow team members at this sad time.

Margo and I are also deeply shocked at this sad news of the tragic loss of Kim.
He was a formidable opponent, a mainstay of the Watermill, and always had a twinkle in his eye.
Sincerely condolences to his family and team members. RIP Kim.

We are still in a state of shock at the moment. Having seen Kim last week we New he was not well but had no idea. I'm sure you will all be as sad as we are. We will let you all know of funeral arrangements and obviously all welcome. We at the Watermill will need a bit of time but will no doubt carry on as Kim would have wanted.

Only just heard this shocking news. My thoughts are with his family, friends and the Watermill team.
Hard to imagine the Watermill without him, a really nice bloke as well as a cracking bar billiards player. RIP Kim

This really is news. A very good player, who knew how to win graciously, and loose gracefully. My sympathy to his family and his team. Bar Billiards has lost a very nice gentleman. Shaun and the Saints.

Hi everyone,
I'm one of Kim's sons.
I just wanted to say a massive thank you for these wonderful messages, it's lovely knowing that my dad was loved and appreciated by you all, it really means a lot of us.
If you're free on Wednesday, me and the family would love to meet you at the funeral service or the wake afterwards at the Watermill.
cheers,
James.
