Only me ! St Francis 2, Windmill Z 3TSO 1240, Barry 2130 (Shaun making the early running, Barry carrying on where he left off the previous night)Girlie Fosters 2170, Margo 1710 (Margo tracking Chris the whole game, Chris making it safe losing the red with the bar gone)Youth Academy Graduate 1940 Graham 1600 (Roger putting the Saints 2-1 up - extra commentary below)Neil Henry 3150, tommo 4190 (with little time left, Neil, playing superbly, led by 3k-1k, I then reverted to type with some 'old school' fifty play)Bob Ellis 1040, Mick 5120 (again the home player making the early running and our supersub looking concerned before slotting into the groove)So, back to frame 3.....Graham was well placed with a cluster of balls around the 50, but took the peg out when catching one too thin. Roger then embarked on a steady, patient break up to the bar, clearing the table except for one awkward ball behind the 30 hole. He needed to hold the break or else Graham would have won. Cueball bypassed object ball off two cushions, but as an afterthought lipped the 20 pocket and threw itself back for a touch. To rub salt in the wounds one went down the 30 to deny Graham the chance of a last ball win. Fair play to Roger who received applause for his gutsy win. A good fun evening with some sideline barracking from a Mid Sussex icon (Gerry Smith). The table was benign, great work by Shaun on the levelling after it had been moved for St Patricks Day. As for the sarnies, enough to feed a small army: I counted seven types (Cheese & pickle; prawn & mayo; tuna & cucumber; beef & horseradish; ham & tomato; cheese & onion; and egg & cress)

Cock Utd 3, HHUSC A 2
Due to other commitments (Yes at the Brighton Centre) I took a back seat for this week's match, and it looks like they can do perfectly well without me!
Wins for Kev, Huw and Jan earned us some valuable points. Don't have the scores so hopefully Sparky will post them (?).

A good match with Baz & co Dilly was unlucky to lose & 2.5K break mid game but kept going and put it beyond doubt with another 2K. Good to see John back in action but our thoughts are with Darrell who is in Hospital atm

Mick and Trevor won for the USC A's, no big scores to worry about LOL but a good evening with our friends at the Cock Inn
