Cock Utd 0, Windmill Z 5 Tufty 1520, Foxy 2700 Huw 2240, Barry 3550 Peter 1190, Johnny 1880 Kevin 370, Clive 2350 Dave 860, Graham 2450 All games close except for the fourth, a bit of a travesty: Kev, playing superbly, had 3k going but went straight down the 20 hole missing the object ball sitting behind. Tommo in reply got 500 ahead, and then pegged a further 370 on a shot that would have given the break back. Nothing would go for Kev now and tommo killed it off with 1500 off the right hand 50 pocket. So another banana skin avoided and no matter what happened elsewhere tonight, one point at home next week would give us the title. Many thanks to the Cock United for being good hosts, the grub served up (samosas, spring rolls, and cheese-stuffed bread sticks) was well received.

Well we thought as much but Boball had been shy of putting his result up in the hope of letting us stew no doubt... We had heard that the home table played up on Wed and he not a happy bunny. However with their home win against the Plough now officially confirmed, I believe that makes Hassocks 'A' runners-up ? If so, would like to offer my congratulations to them, and Wednesday coming should be a relaxed, friendly affair.

Cock Utd are confirmed as Runners up Erm, not sure about that Ian: If St Francis win against you guys, say 3-2 giving them 5.5 points (putting them on 49), and we completely bomb out that would give St Francis the runners-up place.

Have an idea you'll be the ones celebrating though.
