MID-SUSSEX BAR BILLIARD LEAGUE

Results to be in by 28th April 2018

All matches shall be played on neutral tables and shall be the best of 3 games. The first break shall be decided by the toss of a coin. Even breaks shall be played in the event of a third game, the first break to be decided by a toss of a coin. In the event of a third game the second player shall be entitled to insert additional coins to allow his or her first break to continue without time limit to equal or exceed the first player’s score. Should the third game be tied, a fourth game shall be played with the rules as for the third.
Ladies to take breaks and follow in games 1 and 2, and the players who didn’t break in the 1st two games shall take the break in the last game.

Clive & Margo beat Tufty & Jan 2-1 tonight at the BHCC.

1st game close, we got 700 up and stayed there.
2nd game I couldn't do a thing, Margo got a nice 1k break but Jan took it with some consistent scoring.
3rd game got my ar$e in gear at last with a break of just under 5k.

A good battle, thanks Tufty and Jan - and Ros for preparing the table.

played last Sunday (22nd Apr): Dave and Jan won 2-0.
Ros opened well in the first game, but just caught by Jan, who made the most of first go in the second.
Andy and Dave reduced to bit parts - which is how Mixed Doubles should be !!
Thanx to Ric for scoring, and at least Dave got his heart's desire of a friendly in afterwards !

Boball and mama hall beat neil and lyn 2-0 earlier today great breaks from mama hall to win

Tommo and Margo beat Jan and Dave 2-1 tonight.
A bit fortuitous in the decider, Dave was flying but had a peg out of nowhere to give us one last chance which we took.
Good scores in all games, including a lovely break from Jan to take the second.
