HHUSC A 3, Windmill Z 2 at the Hassocks Ben 790 *Clive 9550 *Trevor 100 Jim 9660 ... so far so good. Richard 7820 *Graham 4020 .. Graham drew the short straw *Mick the Magnificent 9410 (a PB) Barry 600 ...and so to the cliffhanger *Andy 4090 Johnny 1310. Andy made the early running, but a determined Johnny got back in contention, had just caught up and overtaken but got a bad leave and pegged it. End of story.
Well done to the USC A, magnanimous in victory ! Expertly captained by Sparky. Good luck on Finals Night. I will say that the table played the best I have known it.

Did players on both teams have equal breaks as some low scores by some players or did they lose them just curious
Also hassocks A won 5-0 And the Cock won 4-1

Bob all games were of course played within the rules.
Tommo in my opinion is being overly kind on the table status it was tough to play with a very unkind break.
The fact the pub said they were unaware there was a match on did not help, there were all sorts of things stacked around the table on arrival. A big thanks to Barry West for taking some time to move some bits and find us a table for our drinks and also to find a bulb for the table light and brush it.
Good job I had a meal before getting there as no food provided by the venue.

At least the table was on freeplay, so our thanks to the venue for that.
