Duke of Wellington 3-2 Pocket Rocket A Dave 7380 - 0 Rick** - Rick off early and first to get them back, going well but a left a one-up short. Dave with a very good break once he got them back **Mike 11,330 - 3510 Matt - the "Hastings Hustler" made enough first visit, no chance for one half of the Littlehampton Pairs Champs Colin 2500 - 6740 Henry** - these two squared off again, less jumping up and down this time and I suppose marginally more score than usual between them, H made a 4k break mid game. Think there were a couple of breaks each but was too busy laughing when Smithy got them back with a shot tight to the left hand cushion somehow a ball ended up in the right hand 50 sportsmanship vote secured.... **Kevin 6780 - 0 Joe - Kevin 5 (five) times world champion required 3 (three) breaks on his home top, to kill off the other half of the Littlehampton Pairs Champs (wasn't their night), Joe one chance on getting the break back. Things were getting a little loud from certain suspects (and that excuse would have been accepted) but after politely telling Kev it was a shocking display I was informed that the "table had changed"......hmmmn Chris 1820 - 4780 TJ** - the Jenneral's opening break more than enough to take Tupps out, who was a little merry as they seem to do rather strong beer at the Wellie It was a slog at the top of the table rest of the leg, though Tupps did have half a chance but left a one-up short. Another Wednesday win for the TJ Cracking night, a little raucous at times and pretty loud. Great company as always. League still on a knife-edge after results tonight. My super team confirmed as bronze medalists this evening

Enjoyable night at the Wellie, with the County Oak A losing believe it is now between them and the Wellie for the league with two weeks to go.
May I say it has been a great season for us, with plenty of laughs, some great captainship, good team bonding, and our reserves slotting in well when we have needed them, believe that this loss means we will finish third which with our team I think is a great effort, thanks to Matt and the rest of the team for making this such an enjoyable season.

Champions of both Premier Division and Division 1 remain uncertain with two weeks of the season remaining. Despite defeats in their last two matches County Oak A will still be champions if they win their last match, a defeat will put things on a knife edge although they will know what is required as the Duke of Wellington (who can still catch them) play their last match this coming Wednesday. Division 1 is also down to the wire with the result of the match at the Caxton between them and the Montreal A destined to decide the outcome. Mont will definitely be champions if they win it but a Caxton win would make the outstanding match v Pocket Rocket B vital. Division 2 has been won by the Railway Club so well done to Sheena and her team.
Please can teams involved in the outstanding matches let me know what is happening about them because dates for them should be arranged by now
