Second Round of FA Cup proper: Biggest game for Horsham in 30+ years (I was at the last one when Horsham played Swindon Town).
Although only an occasional visitor (I only see them when AFC come to town) I would have liked to have got a ticket (after all, they did knock my team out in an earlier round, on penalties :'( ) - but it's a sell-out.
Showing on Sky TV tonight, 7.45pm kickoff. We don't have Sky so will probably go to the Plough to watch it.
Good luck to the Hornets ! 8-)

Five minutes to half-time and Horsham are 0-1 down. Still a chance the match could be abandoned if it continues to bucket it down. :-/

Yup, Horsham in the hat for tomorrow's 3rd round Draw ! Could be up against Arsenal or anyone. 8-)
But first, a replay at Swansea who have a nice new stadium, so should be a money-spinner for Horsham.
The Swansea keeper pushed his luck with the ref. by repeatedly complaining about the penalty - could easily have seen red instead of just yellow.
The true fans b.t.w. are Dick Cable and BigJimSilverFox, who I've seen a couple of times when I was there supporting the opposition.

Well done the Hornets
Incidently, my second eldest son used to go to college with Lee Farrell the deaf striker who came on in the second half and gained the penalty.
Lee also plays for the England deaf team.
I must be very difficult playing our modern game if you are deaf.
Still you cannot hear the barracking!

Come on the Lardy Boys ! An easy one awaits you next (Havant & Waterlooville) ;D ;D ;D Then I think I'd like to see you knock out M/K Dons before taking on one of the big boys. ;)

Horsham are the team in green & yellow and did Sussex proud tonight. Should have had a pen after 30 seconds only the men in black didn`t see but hey we are only a sleepy town in Sussex according to the guy on sky! We did good and a few quid in the bank to bur a new striker maybe. Lee Farrell is God
