A good competitive evening of bar billiards in which the final score doesn't do justice to the closeness of the individual games. Ted should have won the final one but potted both the last balls instead of keeping one up for the 100.

A fun evening of billiards with the home team up against some big handicaps. Jack took advantage of his mark with singles and doubles wins. Tom got his first win in the doubles. Confusion with Bens score in the last , when the black peg followed the white and his score was accidentally wiped the only negative , but mistakes do happen.A good selection of sandwiches went down well.

Hassocks A 2 HHUSC B 4 Lorraine Hall 1490 Paul Jobbins 7000 Dilly Williamson 1680 John Lear 10840  Dilly on a transfer from the B team, John played out of his skin with a 5K break and scoring 9.3K without the handicap Derek Taylor & Pete Edwards 9240 Steve King & Lyn Storr 1350 Derek pulled one back with a great mid game break Lorraine & Dilly 2120 Chris Kirkham & Paul 5800 Pete Edwards 9010 Iang 2600 I was off early and Pete was on form for another high score Derek Taylor 5860 Steve King 6160 Derek was way ahead of Steve mid way and it was looking like the draw was on but Steve played it out with a well controlled 5K break for the win. Handicaps didn't really come into it on the night. A good night all round with a great spread laid on by the Hassocks |
