Hi everyone,
All the draws for Sunday are below.
Team Champs - 2 groups, 1 of 4, 1 of 3. Group of 4 play each other once, group of 3 play 2 games against each other team but against different players.
Top team in each group through to final
Mixed Pairs - 14 entries, 2 groups of 7 single leg, top 2 go through for double leg semis and final. Groups decided on match wins then aggregate score if tied
Special Ladies - 10 entries, 2 groups of 5 , top 2 go through for double leg semis and final. Groups decided on match wins then aggregate score if tied
Playing schedules have been done. Please bear in mind that you may play the same table more than once and in succession. I have tried to do it as fairly as possible. The team games will not be on tables players have already played in the groups, but special ladies/ mixed pairs could be with a lot of players doubling up on tables. Also we will need help with scorers during the day. There will be players playing a lot of games in a row, a couple players will play 10 games in the first 12 series - it is so we can fit all the games in so please help with scoring when you can, especially those in the team event who play 3 or 4 games. Hopefully then the ladies can help in the later stages....
Lets see how it goes this year, the idea was to give people as many games of bar billiards as possible which I have done, be interested to get feedback after the event.

Well done mate, people want as many games as possible so have no reason to moan! If that means playing the same table or scoring then so be it! |

Congratulations to everyone who played and especially the winners. Well done to Tunbridge Wells on retaining their team Championships trophy, but a massive well done to Jenny Florey on playing well all day and winning the special ladies and also the mixed pairs.
Also must say thank you to The Royal British Legion Arborfield for their hospitality, Dave Alder and Stuart Mepham for setting the tables up which played excellently. Lorin Clough for helping Dave run the day smoothly and Nigel Senior for the great format which allowed a lot of legs and competitions in one day!"
