Good evening with the Rocket with plenty of friendly banter. Dave off early, Mal did enough and then a friendly game, with plenty of goes. Ben opened with 4480, Joe ball back 1400, Ben got them back first but off at 1k, giving Joe the chance to make sure next visit. Matt 2k opener, Rick first to get them back and made sure, the controlled another friendly game. Gemma played well throughout, Steve did just get in front near the end but lost his break and Gemma took a well deserved win and I believe this was her highest personal beat score. Toni off early and I got them back and touched!!! on 2k, and then added another 3k and touch ( this time intentionally ) to make sure, plenty of goes each, including some outrageous flukes for the home captain.

Albion C 4-1 Albion A **Matt 6330 - 3690 Bob - a leg of beauty with my 4/5/6 breaks enough to beat Bob, who certainly scored more in one break than I did in any of mine. A travesty that I won the leg, despite somehow being the highest scorer of the night (and the most breaks) Nigel 1160 - 5320 Geoff** - One break each and the scorer didn't need to get out of first gear. Geoff got the balls back a few more times while Nigel didn't, at one point Geoff took a break to have a chat with Nige whilst the leg was in progress, well why wouldn't you, not like it's a timed game Dave Reeves 5680 - 3740 Martin** - Smithy started this one in confident fashion, getting about 2.5k, unfortunately he came up against an inspired "world's greatest reserve" who went off with the highest opening break (which was kept) of over 5k. Martin did have a chance but couldn't catch so we edged into the lead and Reevsy is 1 from 1 for the season **Tupps 2820 - 710 Mark - I have played in the same team as Tupps for a few years now and still don't know how he does it As per the night before not "allowing" his opponent to get the balls back and scoring a few and getting the break back at opportune moments. He did lose his opening break to add to the fun. For Mark's part he endured a frustrating night at the top of the table, with, the more than usual rolls at the top end of the table catching him out, a sad way for him to lose his 100% record this season. A match winning leg from Tupps for the second night in a row Jean 2580 - 1480 Coxy** - The banter was flowing freely by now and Chris did very well to get up to 6k with a nice opening break. Unfortunately for him he lost it with a "wild" shot allowing Jeannie B to build a nice lead. Coxy then had a chance with the deficit only 2k but despite getting the break back he was unable to perform as well as his first break and I'm told (by Jean) that she now is top of the rankings.....actually I think she said that more than once Flattering result, but a good win nonetheless. Great company with our opponents as always and plenty of the usual banter. Thanks for a good night guys

Matt, I was apologizing to Nigel for a shot which while got 2 balls down... it was not what I went for. As you said... lots of rolls past the white pegs. I was just glad they went down anywhere. Nice top.
