Chris Newson played the table out. Other scores of note: Alan Chaloner 10550 and Alan Peters final score 11030.

Did not know at his age Chris was able to bend over the table to play it out, seriously good scores Chris and the Alans`.

Week 2 Main points from week 2 are:- Highest Home Score Division 1 Chris Wing 16200' Chris made his score with an initial break of 8120. The only other score of any note was Tony Webster 8570 at home. A close game Alan Chaloner 5170 - 6120 John Gubbs. Regrettably, several players received a walk over , in accordance with our rules they are credited with a win and receive an average score at the end of the season.

Other scores of note - Brian Daniels 7020, Barry Radford 7820, Fred Large 7090 - all recorded away from home.

week 4 The highest home score and highest away break in both divisions remain unchanged. Scores of note; Tony Woolvin 16930, John Gubbs 12900 - away and Barry Radford 10490 - home. Four of the British Queen players at home recorded :- John Haddon 11660, Brian Daniels 14080, Dave place 11090, Tony Webster 12370 - against experienced opposition.

Some other scores of note week 6 - Alan Chaloner 9750, Chris Wing 15540 and Paul Wing 15380 - all at home.
It would be remiss of me not to mention Alan Chaloner and Tony Webster for their efforts over the season in qualifying for this years Grand Prix. With the quality of competition this year I can only wish them good luck for next season. And, Chris Newson, winner of the Over 50's. His first National Competition win, whilst drinking Coke in the final.
