Windmill Z 3, BHCC 2 (in order played) Clive 1510, *Paul Barnett (8470) 11920 *Johnny 4630, Trevor 960 Margo 2220, *Sheena Wood 70 *Mick 5750, Ros 1850 Graham 2220, *Gary Ridley 8580
Eventful match, Barney going off with enough on his first visit; Johnny overcoming some early nerves and Margo playing with confidence for once. Then Mick spilled an opening 2k with a peg and Ros responded well with her 1850. Desperate measures then needed from Mick and he made a chanceless 5k to clinch matters.
Two visits each for Gary and Graham, Gary making 5k on his second one, Graham a consolation 2k at the end.
The clubsters provided good company on a rough old night, and we hope they had safe journeys home.
Barney beats his own Highest Away Break (7620 made at HHUSC) but in order to claim the award - if it holds - he cannot afford to miss any more league games, as according to Rule 20 "The Highest Away Break, Highest Away Game and Player of the Year trophies are awarded based on League matches and will not include any competitions apart from Team Cup & Plate matches up to and including the semi-finals. Players must play 60% of the league programme to be eligible for these awards".
(Thought it fair to point this out !)

Hassocks B 1 HHUSC B 4
Jack Goodman 760 Chris Kirkham 2000 Izzy Dewdney 1590 Steve King 3300 Dom Ashby bp Paul Jobbins 5450 Barry West 4230 John Lear 4120 Tom Gallacher 720 Iang 5440
A good night with Barry and co, good to see them battling to beat each others score. A very tight game with Barry & John with John unlucky to peg a score but fought back to come very close but run out of time. Excellent spread as always from Dom.
