Jan took a few goes to get going , and Izzy led
but Jan finished with a nice break.
Tom B/P losing about 1600 he’d banked.
Richard kept plugging away for the win.
Dave went off with 4.5k. The table became
a mess but Dave eventually got the break
back and finished it off.
I was off early but watched Chase master the
break, but unfortunately not the rest of the
table, copied his break and took the game.
No mercy for Dom from Ric ,who started with
3k and finished with 7110, and a 10k score.

A demoralising thrashing for my young team,
with 3 black pegs and few chances. A difficult
evening between a team of novices , and a
team of experienced players , needing a
good win to stay second in the league. The
visitors were friendly and top company,
as always.
Thanks to Dilly for scoring 2 games.
An excellent spread of food cooked by Dom,
was quickly demolished.

Wins for Johnny, Clive, Graham and Mick - and for Steve King for the visitors.

Johnny excellent with 6k, John Lear and I had one visit each, and Graham lost a 5k break but still got another 5k-plus.

Games one and five were close and could have gone either way.

Thanks to our close associates for a good evening played out in good spirit. Some interesting chit chat, not all of it b-b related.

Consolation for them when they heard that rivals Cock had also lost 1-4.
