Good evening with Tarring, plenty of banter. Highlight of the evening was Josh who opened with a lifetime best break of 6550 and recorded his personal best score, well don to him. Did have chances to make his 1st ever 10k but was not to be. Games 2 + 4 followed the pattern of Tarring holding the lead in both whilst Rick and Joe struggled to get the break back, but both made sure of their wins in one hit when the opportunity arrived. Game 3 was nip and tuck with Steve holding the lead most of the way and making sure of the win for us. Game 5 Alex got the break 3 times but pegged the one up, I came off at 750 due to my concentration being broken by a young lady leaning on the table and asking me the match score. I built a bit more of a lead but black pegged going for a 200 off the side cushion, break back for me and touched on 2.5k, then very friendly game and Alex happy with passing the 1000 mark in the game. Keeps us in the battle to avoid relegation with two weeks to go.
