Dew Drop 3 - 3 LBSC
A low scoring game for the first 5 legs with no one breaking the 2K mark, yet in the last leg the brothers Mills teamed up and racked up over 8K !!! A result which lifts the badminton boys off the bottom rung of the table.
Dolphin 3 - 3 BLEP
Honours even for these 2 B section teams, again a low scoring affair with Eric Mole top scoring for the visitors with over 3.1K. Josh Williams continues his good run of form with another victory.
Henty A 2 - 4 Locomotive A
The visitors won 3 of the first 4 legs, recent signing Dave France top scorer with 7.8K. With the doubles ending all square, the victory going to Dave Hampton's new look side.
Prince of Wales 4 - 2 Henty B
The Henty bees really needed to win this top of the table clash in order to give them a good chance of winning this season's title. All square after the singles legs, Martin Cole with near 15K and Barry Holt with 8.6k winning for the home team with a superb response from 2 players both in very good recent form for the visitors, Rick Cunningham and Ian Lelliott coming good. The doubles legs both going to the home side in another 2 high scoring games giving the Prince the victory.
Sea View 2 - 4 Swan A.
Captain Stan Beach opened the cueing action for the home team and won with a 8.5k score. The visitors however rallied round to win the next 3, Captain Phil Oakley leading by example with his 6.9k contribution. The doubles games ending 1 apiece meaning another defeat for the sea siders who are struggling with their A team status and now drop into bottom spot.
The Swan B v Alexandra game has been rescheduled for Monday 18th. March.

In the contest for the top B section player, Josh Williams leads the way on 22 pts, 5 pts. ahead of Simon Chant in 2nd. with Alan Hitchman on 16 pts. in 3rd.
