The Registration Fees remain unchanged but the Competition entry fees have risen to £2 per entry. The Interleague Captains role is still to be decided and we are hoping to have this sorted soon.
One rule change was adopted to bring us in line with SCBBA regarding table playing times, no other rule changes were submitted.
Rule 23 Amended wording.
The Away Captain may satisfy himself on the level of the table. The balls are to be left in the tray and the Away Captain may make trial shots to the top of the table without using the side cushions or striking another ball. The duration of the games should be between 16 and 20 minutes; If the bar drops in less than 16 minutes play stops immediately and a coin may be inserted and the bar can be pulled again and play will continue until 18 minutes, at which point any balls going into holes will be retained as if the bar had dropped. If the bar has not dropped by 20 minutes any balls returning to the trap will be retained by the scorer as if the bar has dropped.
If before the match has started there is a known problem with the clock both Captains should agree a time to play to.
23b) The Away Captain should report any complaints verbally to the Home Captain and in writing to the League Secretary. Signing of the match scorecard is considered to constitute acceptance of the match result. Results will be accepted by email and an Excel version of the score card is available on request but the original cards should be kept by the captain in case of dispute.
