Well done to Kevin Tunstall on winning the National Off the Spot today. Kevin was in fine form all day and proved impossible to beat. Kevin beat Curt Driver in the final, well done to Curt on getting to the final, but he was a clear second best in it as he missed early and was not given a second chance. Kevin had beaten Matt Jones in his semi-final with Curt beating Gerald Fitzjohn in the other semi. It is a pleasure to say that the plate was won by the evergreen Dave White who won the battle of the drinkers beating Joe Oakley in the final, a raucous encounter with the Hastings Mafia in full cry. Dave beat Phil Oakley in his semi-final and Joe had beaten Martin Cole in his semi.

Thanks to all those involved in running the day, excellent to see so many people staying to the end to help Dawn and Dave take the tables down and helping with the scoring, (mainly from Sussex, but I didn't say that) The venue provided excellent food again

A very enjoyable day with some good bar billiards and an England Cricket World Cup win adding to the fun
