Entries for this years National 4x4 Tournament, being held on Saturday 28th September at the White Horse in Sudbury, will be done on a 1st come 1st served basis due to the amount of interest that we have recieved.
Worthing as last years winners will automatically recieve entrance leaving the other 11 places up for grabs.
We will be posting an official entry form at 9am on Friday June 21st on the Suffolk Bar Billiards Association Facebook Page. Entrants must have completed the form in full and e-mail across to Del Atton along with a Bank Transfer of £20 per team for their entry to be accepted.
To reiterate the above, The First 11 entrants who fully complete the form and pay in full will be accepted.

Just to let you know the rules we will be using will be those rules used in our four pin open with one exception, we hope to be trialing a new rule around the break shot. This is, After the first players break finishes the second player has the option to either have the balls back and start with the break shot or leave any balls on the table and just continue with things as they are. If this is a success it could be introduced into next years open for ALL single leg games.

Due to unforseen circumstances we still have room for one more team of four players in this years National 4x4.
If anyone is interested please let me know asap.
Remember it is four pin and will be played on narrow tables
Thanks
Dave

The draw for this years 4x4 National team tournament was indeed made last night.
The first round looks like this.
The Young Ones v Worthing
The Snooker Club v The Bay Horse
The Red House v Cambridge
The Brewery Tap v Hastings Nags Head
Surrey Blue Jays v The White optimists
THE White horsemen v Newmarket.
The first round will be a straight knock out with each match consisting of two doubles games and four singles.
We need to start as close to possible to 10-30am and ask all teams to try to arrive in plenty of time.
Remember if you park in the White Horse car park, which is to the rear of the pub you will need to give your car registration number to a member of staff so you can be logged in, if not you will recieve a parking ticket.
If there is enough interest Gary will cook breakfasts, not as cheap as spoons but much better quality. It would be nice if we could give him a rough idea of numbers, so please let us know if you're interested.
See you all in a few weeks
Dave

Opps, I should of added that as I've already said, the rules will be the same as those used for the specflue open apart from the break shot. Now after the first player has concluded their first break the second player has the option whether to have the balls returned and start from a break shot or to just play on from where the opponents balls finished. Its our take on the equal break shots and I'm pretty sure you will see some local players preferring to play on rather than having the break back
