2019 AGM

"Just a reminder of the AGM on 26 June at The Hassocks starting at 8.30pm.

There has been just one rule amendment proposal which has been sent out along with the agenda and minutes from last year.

I look forward to seeing you all, but if there are any apologies please let me know.

A good meeting if poorly attended. Minutes will be published by Jan in due course, but meanwhile here from memory are the highlights.......

Accounts showed a profit on the year, thanks to some generous individual sponsorship, another well-supported Quiz, and some careful cost cutting.

Registration Fees and entry to Competitions remain the same.

One rule change was adopted to bring us in line with SCBBA regarding table playing times.

Committee personnel remain the same, with the option to co-opt Richard Wooton back on if a mutually convenient night can be found for the meetings.

Pete and Jenny Edwards were wished all the best should their plans to move to the West Country come to fruition.

Lorraine was persuaded to stay on as Comps Sec but would welcome support in the role.

Sadly due to the 'A' team losing players, the league could be down to one Home/Away Interleague team next season.
