It is with much sadness I must report that Ray sadly passed away on Tuesday, Ray played in our league for more than 40 years (almost as long as me) he was a kind and gentle man and always turned up to help set up our weekend competitions, even when he was unwell, if we needed a player at short notice for the Inter League you could count on Ray to play, he was a true gent and I know he will be truly missed by all in the RDBBL and the wider bar billiards community.

Sad news indeed, as Martin says a gentle sole who would always have a chat, long standing member of the Redhill league that will be missed, RIP.

Another good guy gone, ever present in the Redhill League. He will be sadly missed by his team members.

to hear the news that we have lost Ray. A lovely kind gentle person would never let anyone down. A steady tough player who was a stalwart of the Redhill league.In my relative short time playing in redhill I played Ray a number of times RIP Ray and my condolences to Rays family .
