As with Quiz II, all have now been found ! 4-10 are all straightforward, 5pts go to Barbelman and 2pts to Sav.
Question 1) I'm going to award to Barbelman, as it's really 178 kilometres of the thames which washes out into the North Sea. But Sav is correct in that the earliest part of it is the Churn, like the stretch which goes through Oxford is the Isis. So half-a-point also to Sav. Answer 2) Trent is spot on by Sav, although technically speaking, the Trent flows into the Humber and thence into the North Sea.
Which brings us to Question 3). Tony said Yorkshire Ouse but this is only part-right so half-a-point. Correct answer is the Aire, which flows for 126km before joining the Yorks Ouse for 72km and then the Humber for a further 61km before washing into the North Sea.
I thought a quiz on fresh water might appeal to Barbelman !
Results (at end of quiz):
1. Barbelman 6.5pts 2. Sav 3.5pts
